February 5, 2010admin Comments OffIf a rich man were to say, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be given one thousand dollars” no one would misunderstand; no one would fail to do just that because of the money reward offered. But when Jesus said, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16), somebody is always ready to say, “I just cannot see it that way. That makes baptism too important.” How wise are men for a dollar–how foolish for a soul.
